HALIBUT FISHING IN COOK INLET ON 07-11-2012
Young Trey enjoyed halibut fishing with family and fellow fishermen Jim, Nathaniel, Bill, Alan, and David. Texas Jim, with arm on his dad (Mr Hunt) , hopes to take him fishing on the next charter.

Catching these alaskan halibut Wednesday morning were Steven and Nathan Laible, Edward and Daniel Arndt, Jesse , Marius, Travis, and Corey.
The Bennett family went fishing aboard the Hers Too catching some nice halibut and plenty of cod. Providing the service were Capt Dan and deckhand Mike.
Before flying back to WI the Berger family went fishing with Matt Mogavero and Joe Davis. Despite a “near miss” and quick splice Matt pulled in a 56″ 87lb halibut thanks to Capt Dan and deckhand Mike.
THEY LOVE TO FISH!!! Tony, in the middle, brought his family and friends back for another glorious day of halibut fishing. Walter “Wes” Simmons and Bobbi fished this charter as well with Capt Dan and Rachel.
The Weigel family “wiggled and giggled” while halibut fishing on Saturday morning with Capt John and deckhand Rachel.
Lynn and Rachel Berger fished alongside the Tinker family (Claire, Allyson, Derek, Tyler, Scott, and Nathan) from Austin, Texas aboard the Hers Too. Capt Dan and his deckhand Mike transported them to catch these delicious halibut.
These 4am fishermen; Rachel, Lynn, Susan Warren family (kneeling below their 87 pounder), Dave and Rhonda Smith, were successful in catching these Cook Inlet halibut. All smiles is Mike our deckhand next to Rachel his girlfriend.
Catching Cook Inlet halibut were the Jeanne Cummings and Steve Sutherland groups along with Bernie Berger. In the center, Eric Larson shows off this “release and catch” fishing pole.
EIGHT (Canarax) IS ENOUGH:-) Brad, Jon, Tony, Larry, Ashim, Bob, Mike, and Will chartered out late Saturday morning and brought home these “Eaters”.
HAPPY ANNIVERSARY TO THE PEARSONS’!!! The Buchanon, Miller, and Pearson families came back with these alaskan halibut…yum yum. Capt John and deckhand Rachel were happy to charter them.
THEY’RE BACK!!! Ryan, Nathan, Ruthie, Jason, and Mark returned for another day of halibut fishing after taking a couple days off. Nathan, 10 yrs old, handled the adventure like a true fisherman.
The Benz family Thomas, Marge, and Andy of Watertown,WI fished for halibut alongside Zebe from Anchorage. In the center is Carrie an artist from Fairbanks.
The Ellis family chartered out Tuesday morning with Kevin Elwood catching this string of alaskan halibut. Getting them to shore before the rains hit was Capt Dan and Mike.
Returning for another day of fishing were the Schaefer’s from Iowa. Fishing with them were the Stewart’s from Texas. Ray was able to “subtract” this off his bucket list.

Clate Ash and wife went halibut fishing with his buddies Brian, Jason, and Martin. Also fishing along side them on the Hers Too were Rene, Carmen, and Mary.
Phillips and Schaefer groups drove from the Sprucewood Lodge to take this halibut charter with Capt John and Rachel.
The Hilty party celebrate a healthy catch of alaskan halibut on a relaxed sunday morning. Capt Dan and his deckhand Mike were on board this charter.
Mr Williams and his son-in-law joined VFW members from Eagle River (Monti, Sherrill, and Turner) for a nice catch of alaskan halibut.
