The Harreld fishermen and Greg Rentov started the weekend off on Friday afternoon catching these alaskan halibut. Capt Rusty and our deckhand Mike were the crew on this charter.
Clarence Friedel proudly kneels in front of halibut caught by himself and family during his 3 day stay with us. The Miller’s from Gillette , WI were happy to go fishing with Capt Rusty and fellow Wisconsinite Mike (deckhand).
Today was the day Gerald and Brenda Ferguson got to go halibut fishing…finally!! With them on the Hers were the “Smiling and Shaded” Wright fishermen and Mr Kucharek .
The ” MAGNIFICENT FRIEDEL 7″ with ROGER ….. A slow return could not defeat them from landing and posing with these fresh from the ocean alaskan halibut.
No ordinary middle of the week for the Brian Garvella and Rob Gray fishermen. Fishing in the Cook Inlet and catching these halibut, as well as the view of Mt Redoubt in the background…awesome!!!
Leo Ramos, daughter Jessica and son Tyler, went halibut fishing with Tim, Andrew, and Matthew Ross. Also, fishermen Obie and Roger caught their limit.
The afternoon brought good weather and halibut to these fishermen aboard the Hers Too. Driving up from Homer was the Sampson group fishing with Brian and Derek Stuart, Johnny Satterwhite, and Mike Nodaras.

ON THE MORNING OF….1st year halibut fisherman Kenny Wadsworth fought and caught this alaskan 100 pounder!!! His friends Buddy and Danny celebrate the days catch with the Butler and Westrich couples of WI.
15 yr old Tyler Warren went halibut fishing with retired military serviceman Wes Simmons and the Fernelius fishermen. Proud father, Bruce Mosher was thankful to see his daughter (Rachel) deckhanding for Capt John.
The “Crouching Six-Pack and Catching Halibut” cast are Steve Colt, Calvin Gorrell, Gary White, Shon and Gregory Teeple, co-starring Neil Brand. Capt Rusty and deckhand Mike produced the voyage.
Taking the Sunday morning to go halibut fishing were these proud fishermen; John II and John IV Wright, Mark and Bruce Freedman, Gary and John Nadeau. Excited from the adventure is a smiling Kathleen and Matt Poole.
Reeling in these halibut aboard the Hers Sunday afternoon were John and Mike Fieser, David and Paul Hamilton, and John Fjellman.
David Ham and his brothers fished halibut with Buddy Walker and friends aboard the Hers. Though the weather was overcast and rainy, Capt John and deckhand Rachel smile like sunshine:-)
After 17 years with us Oscar Shaw still enjoys visiting Alaska. Most of all he cherished watching family; Christian, Daniel, Robert, Orian, and Bryan catch halibut and salmon!!
Justine and Stephen from Anchorage took this halibut charter with the guys from Jacksonville; Richard, Barry, Kevin, and Matt. Clarence (next to Capt Rusty) enjoyed his second day on the Hers Too.
Carlene Bailey did some halibut fishing early Saturday morning with Jennifer, Mariam, Sara, Mikilani, Linda, Nanialii, and Judy. Departing at 5:30am was Capt Rusty and deckhand Mike.
Returning to Ninilchik for some halibut fishing with Capt John, Oscar Shaw (Vernon, Florida) and his family brought back these “beauties”. Rachel, our deckhand, was all smiles the day after turning 20!!
